Definition
What rp (certified pool/spa contractor) actually means.
The Florida Certified Pool/Spa Contractor license (RP) authorizes work specifically on swimming pools and spas — construction, resurfacing, equipment-pad work, plumbing, and electrical bonding under NEC Article 680. Pool plumbing and structural work in Florida must be performed by an RP-licensed contractor or under a CGC who has pool/spa scope. Mark Tivey carries RP252555575 in addition to his CGC.
