Quartz Countertop
An engineered countertop material made of ~93% crushed quartz mixed with resin and pigment, non-porous and durable.
Definition
What quartz countertop actually means.
Quartz countertops (commonly Caesarstone, Silestone, MSI brands) blend crushed natural quartz with polymer resin and pigment, producing a non-porous surface harder than granite. Maintenance is minimal — no sealing required, low stain risk. Heat tolerance is good but not unlimited; very hot pans can damage some patterns. Patterns range from solid colors to dramatic veining that natural stone can't match.
