Granite Countertop
A natural-stone countertop material, quarried in slabs and sealed periodically to resist staining.
Definition
What granite countertop actually means.
Granite countertops are quarried natural stone — each slab is unique, with character variations granite manufacturers can't replicate. Heat resistance is excellent. Maintenance requires annual sealing for stain resistance (the stone is porous). Color and pattern depend on the quarry source; sourcing premium imported granite can add weeks to project lead time.
